Elder Walter Fields, Associate Pastor was born in Green Pond, South Carolina, and is the second eldest son of the late Jonas and Julia Fields. He is married to Minister Brenda Fields and they have six children and six grandchildren. He graduated from Walterboro High School, Walterboro, South Carolina in 1972, and from South Carolina State College, Orangeburg, South Carolina in 1977, receiving a BA degree in education, as well as an Army Military Commission. In 1979 Elder Fields was activated in the regular United States Army and served as Organization and Training Officer in, Ft. Benning, Georgia, and Ft. Sill, Oklahoma Second Infantry Division. Though life and career had its place, so did God. He gave his life to the Lord in 1981, while serving in the U.S. Army. He answered the call into ministry in 1994 at Jerusalem AME Church, White Hall, South Carolina. In 1997 God planted him in New Covenant Fellowship Ministries. Elder Fields attended Rhema Bible College in Summerville, South Carolina from 1996 to 2002 and received an Associate Degree in Systematic Theology.
